2010 Press Pass Football is the first place to find on-card autographs and game-used jersey cards of football’s newest stars. The 2010 rookie class features numerous talented quarterbacks, wide receivers, and running backs that dominated opponents in college and are ready to make an immediate impact at the next level. Press Pass is excited to introduce the first cards of these rising stars, including projected top-10 picks, Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford, Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen, and Oklahoma St. WR Dez Bryant, as well as the legendary Florida QB Tim Tebow. The product is also going to include autographs and memorabilia from many other projected 1st round picks, including WRs Golden Tate, Demaryiuous Thomas & Arrelious Benn; RBs CJ Spiller, Jahvid Best & Ryan Mathews; along with projected top pick Ndamukong Suh.
2010 Press Pass Football provides collectors a great opportunity to obtain on-card autographs of this year’s rookie crop, delivering 5 signatures per hobby box from eight distinct autograph levels. The bronze autographs are accented with each player’s school logo in metallic ink. The silver level is numbered to 199 and features the player’s uniform number, while the gold level is numbered to 99 and features a gridiron “X’s and O’s” pattern. Finally, there is a rare Blue hobby only level available that features a secondary school logo and is sequentially numbered to only 50. Rare Power Pick Autographs showcase signatures of select standout players in the draft and are sequentially numbered to 250 or less, and collectors can also find the new Power Picks Showbound parallel this year, numbered to only 25. Finally, autographs from select standouts such as Crabtree, Stafford, and Sanchez can also be found exclusively at Wal-Mart or Target and only 25 of each player are available. There will also be three levels of rare collegiate game-used jersey cards in Press Pass Football, with hobby odds for pulling a jersey card being 1:72 packs.
“2010 Press Pass Football includes a comprehensive roster of players that have the potential to star on the pro gridiron,” explained Nick Matijevich, Director of Product Development for Press Pass Inc. “As always, collectors will want to look for rare ‘red ink’ and ‘nickname’ signatures from their favorite rookies. This is a tradition our company has become well known for, and collectors are always excited to see the variations we release each year. It’s definitely an added bonus to our programs, as these rare autograph variations add another exciting chase level for collectors, and they are always some of the most coveted cards of the incoming rookie class.”
2010 Press Pass Football features a 105-card base set (including 5 short prints) and released on March 31, 2010.
